California Health Care Foundation's (CHCF) Health Care Leadership Program 2026
The California Health Care Foundation's (CHCF) Health Care Leadership Program is designed to transform today’s clinicians into tomorrow’s leaders. This prestigious two-year, part-time fellowship selects up to 32 health care professionals annually, including physicians, behavioral health providers, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and others.

The CHCF Health Care Leadership Program is hosted by the Healthforce Center at UCSF. It aims to equip clinicians with advanced leadership skills to address the challenges of California’s health care system. The program fosters collaboration and innovation among participants to drive meaningful change.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

- Have at least five years of leadership experience.

- Clinicians in San Joaquin Valley, Inland Empire, Imperial, and Northern/Sierra counties.
- Clinicians working in safety-net organizations.

- Behavioral health clinicians.
