This program provides funding for equipment essential for creating, displaying, promoting, and documenting Northern Territory (NT) artistsโ work. Examples of eligible equipment include:
- Kilns
- Printing presses
- Sound systems
- Gallery fittings
- Storage tools
Priority is given to:
- Remote and Very Remote arts organisations
- Aboriginal-owned art centres

- Maximum grant: Up to $10,000 per financial year
- Applicants must demonstrate additional funding sources to cover full project costs
- Not applicable for consumables (e.g., paint, staples, paper) or vehicles
- Any equipment fixed to a facility requires written building owner approval
- All expenditure must comply with the Buy Local Plan
โ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an arts organisation based in the Northern Territory
- Be an Aboriginal-owned art centre
- Organisations receiving less than $400,000 per year through the Australia Council for the Arts (AGP)
